Dr. Luke Bennett is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Learning Design and Technology at Purdue University. For over two decades Luke Bennett has been an educator and a leader of educators. Luke has a strong background in course development, teaching, and program management/development in both K-12 and higher education. He started his professional career in K-12 education serving both in the classroom and in administrative roles. After a successful K-12 career, Luke moved full-time into higher education where he has served as teaching faculty and instructional designer. He has designed and taught various graduate and undergraduate courses in online, blended, and face-to-face environments. Additionally, he has been responsible for the development and oversight of courses at the programmatic level. Dr. Bennet has published and presented at the national and international levels. His research interests include management and pedagogy within emerging learning environments such as extended reality, mobile technologies, and online/blended learning environments. Luke has a strong interest in instructional design, technology integration, and online/blended learning that have developed through his experience as a student and professional. He holds an EdD from Nova Southeastern University with two specializations in Instructional Technology/Distance Education and Curriculum Development, an MA in Teaching from Belhaven University, and a BA in Psychology from Florida International University.
